The Legend of Jack and the Beanstalk

Inspired by Icy Tower and Doodle Jump, The Legend of Jack and the Beanstalk is a retro 2D platformer that goes up instead of sideways. Climb the beanstalk, fight the insects populating it and find out what waits for you at the very top.

Made within 6 weeks on Gamemaker, my team submitted this as the final submission for NM3216 Game Design. As the designer and producer, I laid out the levels and arranged the items in the game (health packs and enemies) to create a dynamic and challenging player experience.
